Will Makkal Shakti (People Power) decide on Samy Vellu’s fate?

Samy Vellu… finally admitted there problems after all.So the Malaysian Indians now know that Pak Lah is unperturbed by their claims that Samy Vellu had failed to fight for the betterment of the whole Malaysian Indians for the last 50 years. SamyVellu is now confirmed to defend his seat at Sungai Siput which had been his forte for as long as many of us can remember since 1974.

Although Samy Vellu said he may leave if the Indian community does not want him anymore (Source: Malaysiakini), it is now obvious that this veteran MIC leader still thinks he is still needed and the only Indian leader that can deliver the changes as requested by the Indian community. Most importanty, his boss Pak Lah also thinks that only Samy Vellu can do the job, thus his nomination to defend the Parlimentary seat of Sungai Siput where the majority of voters are Malaysian Indians.

The question now remains, how badly the Malaysian Indians want to get rid of Samy Vellu from representing them. The only revenue left for the Malaysian Indians to walk their talk now is the 12th general election that is going to happen on 8th March 2008. So far, they have proved that they mean business by taking their demands to the streets, boycotting the Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves, and lately have been very brave to even heckle Samy Vellu while he was in his car after attending some functions… all of which still had not convinced Pak Lah to drop Samy Vellu from the BN’s candidate list.

Will Makkal Shakti on 8th March 2008 be able to bury Samy Vellu from Malaysian politic once and for all? Only the voters of Sungai Siput constituent can decide come the 12th general election.

If the Malaysian Indian community is really serious about sending a clearer message to Pak Lah and Samy Vellu that the present MIC leaders have failed in their duties to serve the Indian communities, the battlefield should not just be in Sungai Siput only but had to be extended to other election war zones as well where majority of ’soldiers’ are of Indian ethnic.

Do you think Makkal Shakti will decide on Samy Vellu’s fate? Let us know in the comment area and please vote wisely in the 12th general election.

Despite the Hindraf Rally and the attending agitation and “makkal shakti” arising from the Indian Community, our Samy Vellu is still not exiting without putting up a fight in the GE 2008. His confidence level is extra boastful and confident declaring that out of the 19 state seats only three namely - 1. Lunas, 2 Perai, 3 Bagan Dalam need extra efforts. The 9 Parliament seats have no problems.
His reasoning “of the 780,000 voters we have, 530,000 are our members, when own members, we have a special direction for them. What we have to fight for is the balance of 200 hundred over thousands”
So is this Indian factor having a decisive say in the swing of votes to the opposition or is it a wishful thinking for a lot of people? More details & pics at

kick all of MIC rep out. Even Sothi is corrupted. He’s hand in hand with Samy Vellu on Telekom shares. Only decent man I see in MIC is Veerasingam.

CJCM: So kick Veerasingam too or not?

    bro,

BTW, Sg. Siput majority voters of about 50-60% are malays, chinese about 30% and Indians and other minority made up the rest. So, it’s not only those Indians votes counts! That’s why Samy so confident about his Sg siput seat lor! But at this moment what i knew is that people there no matter malay or indian is disgusted of him. I’m Ipoh guy and I knew the sentiment there. But still Samy will make it because rumours are flying that he got backup of 5000 postal votes plus orang asli votes. Dunno how true it is!

CJCM: Lor…. like that meh…… well in that case… everyone have to go and get him hehehe

Not only Samy Vellu must go,all M.I.C. representatives of Parliament and State Assembley must be thrown out.If anyone can compromise his principles to make a pact with this moron then he is not fit to be elected. No M.I.C.representatives dare to go against him.Good ones have already left. Those who remain in the M.I.C. are all tainted.

CJCM: Hear you…. hear you bro….. but what about your friends and relatives?

MIC does not represent the entire Indian community but Makal Sakhti does. The response give by Indians to BN has taken a drastic change. You will know the full impact on 8th Marc 08 and definitely Makal Sakhti is bringing changes in the ballot boxes. Many have underestimated the Indian Voters and they are in for a big surprise. The increase in the number of Indian voters for this election is clear sign that change is coming and so get prepared.

CJCM: Sir, I am fasting my seat belts to prepare for the jolts… don’t disappoint me OK? Better… dont let the community down.
