The flood is over but….
Although the flood that had recently hit many parts of the country is finally over, the Johor folks who were the hardest hit can hardly forget about the worst natural disaster that had happened to them. Some of them had noting left, including the house. It will be many years, if ever, for some of these victims to recover from the emotional stress and disturbance resulting from the unexpected flood that had hit them twice in just a few weeks apart.
Helps are still very much needed to help these victims to recover and get back to their normal lives even though it will not be the same again for some of them. And YOU can definitely help, especially financially. If you haven’t donated to the flood fund, please visit the nearest Malaysian Red Cross Society and show them that you care. Yesterdays were their days and who knows it might be your days in the future. Please be caring Malaysian and donate generously.
Let’s us all emulate what the staff at Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya had done to help ease the suffering of Johor flood victims. They had taken an afternoon off and had organized a car wash event to raise fund for the flood victims.
Remember YOU can contribute in similar ways too…. but its up to you to think of what you can do. Malaysia Boleh!
