Who would forget Mahathir’s famous poem Melayu mudah lupa (Literally translated: Malay forgets easily)? This poem will be remembered for generations to come, partly due to the fact that Malay does forget easily, but the more cynical reason is that the poem has for sometimes been used against Mahathir himself by a lot of his critics thanks to Mahathir’s own wrong doings.
The most recent mocking of Mahathir’s famous “Melayu mudah lupa” phrase was when the ex-premier testified in the Lingam video inquiry as reported by Malaysiakini:

First of all, Pak Lah knows how bad the state of Malaysia judiciary after the sacking of Tun Mohd Salleh Abas and the rest of the judges who had not danced along with the executives at that time in 1988. The fact that he knew something went wrong in the judiciary was very clear otherwise he would not have offered the ex-gratia payment, the judicial apppointments commission and last but not least, the review of judiciary’s terms of services and remuneration.
