So UMNO top guns are happy now that the transition plan is earlier than what was originally proposed by Pak Lah. Come March next year, Pak Lah is supposed to transfer power to… of all person, Najib.

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said he would pass his finance portfolio to his deputy Najib Abdul Razak, while he takes over as defence minister.
Abdullah told a press conference this afternoon that the swap in the cabinet posts will take effect immediately.
The prime minister, who has held the post of finance minister since 2004, said he had informed the cabinet of the decision.

First, Pak Lah said Ahmad didn’t mean what he said. Then Najib apologized to the people. Now, why on earth did Ahmad Ismail not apologize for himself? Does it mean that he still stand by his remarks?
If what Ahmad said is seditious and a police reports had been lodged against him, and now Najib said sorry for Ahmad, in a way admitting what Ahmad said was wrong… bear in mind at this juncture Ahmad had neither apologised nor retracted his seditious remark…. what is taking the police so long to act? So, a new ACA report against Pak Lah and Najib had been made by, surprise… surprise…, a veteran Selangor Umno leader Datuk Mazlan Harun. Wow… this is really the first in history of UMNO Baru and the nation. It is just amusing. Pak Lah should know why Malaysian people, even UMNO members, want him to resign. It is due to, among others, his weak leadership that had led to BN’s massive loss in the recent general election. You can come up with 1001 reasons why Pak Lah should resign, but all those can be summarized into one, a very weak leadership.

Oh my…. looks like the flip flop disease has spread in Malaysia. While you-know-who had flipped flopped so many times we have lost count of it, the latest one infected by the disease is none other than Bung Mokhtar Radin…. used to be famous for his ‘bocor’ remarks that had sparked angry protests from women nationwide.
Yesterday, Bung Mokhtar Radin flipped, denied making a rude gesture in Parliment and today he flopped, admitted doing it but still trying to mince his words around the incident.

Private detective P Balasubramaniam today retracted his stunning statutory declaration which had linked Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.
