Musa is wrong when he says UMNO is over 61. He has forgotten (Mahathir was right when he said ‘Melayu mudah lupa’) that UMNO had ‘died’ of ‘not’ old age but sudden ’stroke’ and ‘heart attack’ at a rather not-so-old age. That was in 1987 when UMNO was declared illegal (thanks to Mahathir of course) by the court. Without going into detail of what had taken place, suffice to say UMNO is not 61.

So, since the original UMNO had died, I can only presume Musa was talking about UMNO Baru and again he is obviously so wrong for UMNO Baru is neither 61 years old nor suffering from old age. UMNO Baru is indeed a very young party but majority of the leaders of UMNO Baru are the old UMNO members… these are the people who are suffering from ‘old age sickness’, Musa included.

Interestingly, Musa is again wrong when he had prescribed a remedy for ‘old age sickness’. There is no cure for old age. It is very often that when a man suffers from old age and becomes really sick, the doctor would just tell the family members to just take the old man home and wait for his ‘natural death’ for there is nothing any doctor can do to cure old age. Old age simply means you are near the end of your ’shelf life’ and death is the only option waiting…. sooner or later.

Having said all that, with the current political scenario in Malaysia, UMNO Baru is dying anyway you look at it but then only Allah knows best.
