The new Penang State Government just cancelled orders for new cars which was placed by the previous BN Government. Mind you, they already had 43 cars in the first place.

The Penang Government has cancelled an order for five new Perdana V-6 cars worth RM623,000 which were ordered by the previous administration for its exco members.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng commended all the new exco members for agreeing to continue using the existing cars to save the rakyat’s money.

“The cars have not been delivered yet. So, we have managed to cancel the orders without incurring any losses for the state.

“Currently, the government has 43 official cars for its senior officers,” he told newsmen after a state exco meeting yesterday.

Source Star Online

3. New Kedah Chief Minister Azizan Abdul Razak also refused to use state budget to put up security fences around his own house. He is not spending people’s money for that. The amount however is not stated.

Source: HarakahDaily

Now, compare that to Chief Ministers and other ministers from the BN Government? I couldn’t be bothered to find the details but we all knew they spend a lot of tax-payers money for the renovations and expensive cars. Pak Lah alone spent RM15.81 million to renovate his official residence in Putrajaya when he took over from Mahathir.

And the Government BN says they care for the rakyat? I rest my case.

Post from: The Kuala Lumpur Traveler
