]]> Port Dickson Golf and Country ClubI have just returned from an un-planned short holiday to Port Dickson. This time I stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment at the Port Dickson Golf Country Club (PDGCC) which is located at Si Rusa, Port Dickson.

Here are some of the pictures around the swimming pool and the golf driving range.

I wish there is an olympic size swimming pool… but this pool is just as fun, especially for the kids.

The driving range is right in front of the apartment bocks, which is quite convenient for golfers.

The apartment is quite comfortable and if you are a member, you will get a a 15% discount off the published rate, but even at the normal rate, it is still affordable for the public. If you are not looking for a sea-facing accomodation, you might want to give this apartment a try, but the Port Dickson beach is just about 5-10 minutes away for you to enjoy the sea-side. Of course, if you are also golf enthusiasts, PDGCC should be a preferred choice when it comes to family holiday in this popular resort town of Port Dickson.

]]> Wilson complete beginner golf setThis is my new beginner golf set. I bought this set at Jusco in Sunway Pyramid. If you are wondering how I choose my golf set…. I only have two words to say… gut feeling. There are so many versions of advice from different people so in the end, my own gut feeling is what I rely on when deciding on my first golf set.

The fact that there are so many golf set brands out there just make life so much more difficult for beginners like me. But life has to go on. So after talking to a few friends who are already into golf, I decided this is what I want for now.

The Wilson starter set has everything I need… at least that is what I was told by the sales girl.

The set comes with the following items:
3 Woods
1 Hybrid
5 Irons (5,6,7,8,9 and P)
1 Putter
1 Sand
1 Cart Bag
4 Headcovers
1 Sport Bag

I also managed to get 1 Daiwa all weather glove, free of charge. Good deal? Maybe yes, may be not, depending on who you talk to, but my gut feeling says… this is it.

Very soon, I am off to Cyberjaya Lake Garden Community Club golf driving range to test my new clubs. Wish me luck!!
