Worst still, this nation called Netherland doesn’t seem to learn from past mistakes.

Not very long time ago, a Danish cartoonist drew some caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which was clearly insulting and humiliating the Prophet and Islam… sending Moslems around the world to the streets in protests. A Danish newspaper even re-printed the offending cartoons the next day. But did they learn anything?

Not only they were not repentent, the latest act of insulting Islam through a 15-minutes film called FITNA clearly demonstrated to the world that some Dutch smart ass is totally insensitive to Islam and Moslems around the world.

While Dutch businesses are toying around with the idea of suing that stupid Geert Wilders, I am already launching my own boycott of Dutch products that I can identify and can live without. This boycott will last until I decide to do otherwise. Will you join me in boycotting the following products from Netherland corporations?

Shell service stations – I actually use Petronas NGV anyway.

ING insurances – Since the insurance premium is already paid, there is no point for me to boycot this ING service as the insurer will make more profit. So I will continue using this service. But if you or your company is thinking to signup with ING, you may want to consider alternatives.

Unilever products- This is a Netherland/UK company, nevertheless I am boycotting all its products. Many of Unilever’s products are on the shelves of Malaysian supermarkets. Boycot these brands (Cooking and eating – Ben’s & Jerry, Knorr, Planta, Lady’s Choice, Lipton, Wall’s ice cream & Breeze detergents, Beauty products – Clear, Dove, fais & Lovely, Lux, Pond, Rexona & Sunsilk. See the website for more products.).

ABN Amro Bank – well I never deal with the bank anyway.

Phillips electrical appliances – I love Samsung better.

TNT courier services – I hardly use courier service, but even when I need one, TNT will definitely not be my preferred one.

<del datetime="2008-04-01T03:10:47+00:00">
Danone dairy products</del> Please see comments why this is deleted.

Baby foods products – Milupa, Dumex, Mellin, Cow & Gate, Nutricia

Nutricia clinical products

For consumer products, you should not throw any Dutch product you already bought. Use them for now but please consider alternatives in your next purchase.

Now, if any of my reader is from Netherland or working for any company from Netherland, I apologize to you if my post offend you in any way or cause you any inconvenience or if you are not part of the whole thing or even if you yourself regret these stupid acts by your countrymen. I have to do what I have to do and I sincerely believe you also have to what you have to do. You owe it to yourselves to pressure your government (or the company you work for to pressure the Dutch government) to take actions againt the moronic Dutch <del datetime="2008-04-01T20:00:16+00:00">citizens</del> Parlimentarian who has no regards for world peace and religious tolerance.

If you know any other Dutch consumer products that I have overlooked, please list them in the comment area. And if you are a Moslem, you owe it to yourself to email this post to all your Moslem friends around the world so that we, Moslems, once and for all, can make our voices heard and not taken for granted by some selfish citizens of any country or followers of any religion.

Post from: The Kuala Lumpur Traveler
