During by-elections, there are tonnes of money poured by the government in the forms of development projects, allocations, donations to poor people, long standing land applications that are suddenly approved and what not.

As far as Terengganu is concerned, there are already many completed and on going projects since BN’s worst general election ‘awarded’ to the people of Terengganu. Just take a drive from Kuantan to Kota Bharu along the coastal road and you will have to spend at least additional 2 – 3 hours on the road due to traffic congestion caused by so many development projects along that coastal road alone.

Kuala Terengganu, as it is, is already so developed but this coming by-election, will see many more projects suddenly becomes high priority. Which ones? It is for for you to find out and for us to know.

To the people of Kuala Terengganu… vote wisely!

Didn’t Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy’s BN Government say that any new fuel price will only be effected from September 1 and that no new price will be announced prior to September 1?

It’s not that we should be complaining about the new lower petrol and diesel prices just announced by the ‘people-caring’ (notice the inverted quotes?) Flip-Flop BN Government… but its the flip flop decision-making from the flip flop BN Government lead by Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy that we all should worry about.

Didn’t Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy’s BN Government say that any new fuel price will only be effected from September 1 and that no new price will be announced prior to September 1? The decision do effect new prices only on September 1 (or I assume on every 1st of the month for that matter) was due to the fact that the new price will be reviewed monthly to reflect the previous month average prices of the commodity in the world market.

But suddenly, as we all would have suspected, Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy’s BN Government announced new prices, obviously ahead of the Permatang Pauh by-election…. clearly another act of desparation by the Flip-Flop BN Government.

To the people of Permatang Pauh who are going to come out in droves come the by-election day 26th August 2006, you should remember what PAS’s spiritual leader Tuan Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat used to tell the Kelantenese people…. take the money, take the batik, take the sugar (given by the BN Government during elections campaign) but when it comes to voting, please cross the moon.

So Permatang Pauh voters, do take the new prices prices announced by Flip-Flop BN Government but comes 26th August, vote PKR of Pakatan Rakyat for your indepencence. By the way, thanks to the Flip-Flop BN Government for yet another coincidence.

Further, watch out folks…. Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy already said:

He gave an assurance that the petrol price would not exceed RM2.70 a litre for this year, even if the global market price went up.

Source: Star Online

You should know what is coming our way…..

It is now confirmed. Anwar Ibrahim will be charged in court tomorrow, 7th August 2008, for sodomy offence. It will be a much awaited event as Anwar is now expected to contest in a by-election for the parlimentary seat of Permatang Pauh.
The seat had been vacated by his wife Wan Azizah who had been holding the forte there since Anwar was sacked, also for sodomy allegation by Mahathir, way back in 1998.

The nomination date for the by-election had been set on 16th August 2008 and if there is a contest, the by-election will be held on 26th August 2008. Interestingly, the dates for both the sodomy court case and the by-elections are announced on the same day, today.

Now, will Anwar be allowed bail tomorrow and appear in Permatang Pauh caomaigning for the by-election? That is also an interesting question but the answer will only be known tomorrow…. so do keep your fingers crossed guys.

Anwar, of course, claimed the sodomy allegation is another conspiracy against him and the Government had also denied the conspiracy allegation by Anwar.

While a police report against Anwar had been dealt with super efficiently, the whole nation is watching in high anticipation what would happen to the ACA report against Pak Lah and Najib.
