But I was in for a big dissappointment.

The new BN 2008 Campaign Site is just so outdated and backward in terms of its functionalities. There is no interactive elements at all. As I go through the entire contents of the website, it is nothing more than just a static webpages that is very boring to start with.

But then when I see another link that says Campaign Blog, I was quite relief and thought thats where the interactivity would come in for the BN to communicate with their supporters and fence sitters (with hopes to convert these fence sitters). But again, I was also dissapointed big time there.

Can you imagine a campaign blog that is not interactive at all. Not only the contents are not regularly updated like those blogs run voluntarily by the supporters of the opposition parties, there is no comment feature enabled as well. And the BN IT guys call this Campaign Blog?

Who ever developed this website for BN, do you know how to build a good website or not? Do you know what blogs really are? I guess you do know but since you are doing it for the BN to fool the people, all those interactive elements had to be left out for fear there would be tons of negative comments and feedbacks by the readers… a big NO NO for the BN Government that is famous for not wanting to engage in any two way communication between the rakyat and the BN Government because there will be no answers to these questions, comments and feedbacks.

So in my conclusion, the BN machinary fails, yet again, to utilize the internet technology to its fullest. Knowing how expensive the guys who developed the website would have been paid, the BN 2008 Campaign Site is just a waste of time and money. It sounds like BN… looks like BN and of course it’s BN.

Will You Vote for Change? Vote Wisely Malaysian!

Post from: The Kuala Lumpur Traveler
