Rescued Bryde’s Whale Found Dead!

Bryde's whaleThe nature-lover rescue team fought tirelessly yesterday evening to free a 24-meter-long Bryde’s whale which was found stranded off Gaya Island in Sabah, East Malaysia on Sunday. After several hours of hard work by the rescuers, the whale was finally set free yesterday around 7.45pm, but not without serious cuts and bruises inflicted upon herself.

Stranded Bryde's whale off Gaya Island, SabahHopes were high that the mammal would survive but the good news about the rescue didn’t last long. The whale is found dead today, at almost the same spot she had originally been found stranded on Sunday.
