Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix this weekend in Sepang

Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix

Are you ready to get your adrenalin pumping this weekend? Are you looking forward to a noisy but exciting weekend? I am talking about the upcoming Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix to be held at the Sepang F1 Circuit from 6th to 8th April 2007. That’s just 3 days away from today.

With four drivers racing for the first time this weekend in Sepang, this year’s F1 Grand Prix is said to be the battle for the rookies with the best endurance.

And for McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, Renault’s Heikki Kovalainen, BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica and Spyker’s Adrian Sutil, it will be one of the most anticipated battles to see who can last the distance in what has been billed as the hardest race on the calendar.

While Toyota is confident of securing more point this Sunday, BMW Sauber duo, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld, aim to continue fine run in Sepang

Interestingly, the rain had been coming to Kuala Lumpur for the past few days and a wet weekend has been forecasted for this year’s race in Sepang. It would be very interesting to see how the professional drivers would handle one of the most challenging F1 circuits in wet conditions. I wish the very best for all drivers… just stay clear from crashes to finish the race.

Past winners at the Sepang International Circuit:

2006 Giancarlo Fisichella, Mild Seven Renault F1
2005 Fernando Alonso, Renault
2004 Michael Schumacher, Ferrari
2003 Kimi Räikkönen , McLaren Mercedes
2002 Ralf Schumacher, Williams-BMW
2001 Michael Schumacher, Ferrari
2000 Michael Schumacher, Ferrari
1999 E. Irvine, Ferrari
