Now Muhammad Muhd Taib can speak English?
Referring to Malaysiakini latest report ‘Pakatan manipulating crossover threat‘ where Muhammad Muhd Taib was interviewed by Malaysiakini. Here are some of his responses :
“He was only doing what he thinks is best for his state and I share his concerns. But I think the opposition is exploiting and manipulating this matter to create unrest and guilt among BN members,” he told Malaysiakini.
…..“This is an extraordinary outcome as the voters had just wanted to send a simple message only. They were upset…but (I think they) only wanted to see BN win with a smaller margin.”
…..“It is not that voters don’t like BN, but the mood had simply shifted towards the opposition. That is why I stressed that Pakatan won these four states (and retained Kelantan), not because they are popular, but because voters did not agree with the (BN) candidates,” he said
…..BN is not like (PAS spiritual leader and Kelantan Menteri Besar) Nik Aziz Nik Mat (right) and (DAP national chairperson) Karpal Singh (left) whose (political) principles are irreconcilable,” he argued.

“I have talked about this before (so) I don’t want to repeat it. We should be thinking about consolidating the party and get back the people’s support,” he said.Muhammad had previously ticked off Mahathir over “unfair comments against Abdullah for the party’s poor performance” in the polls.

Now, I am sure everyone is wondering whether the interview was conducted in Englsish or Malay language. Perhaps Muda Mohd Nor of Malaysiakini can shed some light?
If the interview was indeed conducted in English, I must say Muhammad Muhd Taib is one hell of a good English mature-student (wherever he has learned English) because just a few years back in 1997 he had claimed he did not understand English in his defense in an Australina court for illegally carrying an equivalent of AUD1.26 millions in different currencies in cash into the Aussieland.

Everybody knows he knows English and that he pretended he did not understand to save his skin.
If he doesn’t know English, then he is not fit to be information chief for any party, let alone the anchor party of BN.
If he is a liar, then he is not fit to be a Minister.
His presence in the party and in the cabinet makes both entities loss of credibility.
That’s my humble opinion.
