Michael’s Badminton Academy in Bandar Puteri Puchong

by CJCM on May 9th, 2007

I just came back from Bandar Puteri Puchong where I played badminton at Michael’s Badminton Academy with my office mates after a long day at work. My friends had been asking me to join them for a while but I had been giving them cold shoulders. But tonight I made up my mind that I need some exercise to trim off some excess fat and to relief myself from stress at work. I used to play soccer but at my age I totally rule out soccer or even futsal.

Badminton is my favourite game since my childhood. However, tonight’s game was my first since so long that I can’t even remember when I played badminton last time… it must have been at least three or four years. So I am expecting some body ache tonight which will be worse tomorrow. But I am goig to make this a regular affair to bring back some fitness in me. Watch out Kien Keat and Boon Heong… hehe just kidding.. :)

Michael’s Badminton Academy is a huge badminton complex located in Bandar Puteri Puchong. There are 32 courts at the badminton center making it the largest badminton center in Malaysia according to The Malaysia Book of Records.

    Hi,
I am 17 years old and on the Trinidad and Tobago National Badminton team. I won gold at the Carebaco (Caribbean) Tournament in the U-19 mix doubles event last year and have competed in the Pan American region for my country, Trinidad and Tobago. I love badminton and would like to improve my skills. I recently returned from the BWF training camp in Sofia, Bulgaria but Trinidad does not offer the training that could maximise my potential. I am looking for a school and camp which could offer me this.
I have passed my CXC examinations and am attending the University of Trinidad and Tobago. I will appreciate an early reply.
