Kelantan International Kite Festival 2008
The much anticipated event for Kelantenese and kite lovers around the world is coming this weekend from 24th May until 27th May 2008.
The Kelantan International Kite Festival 2008 will see participation from countries like Germany, United States, Britain, France, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore and Brunei.
Organized by Kelantan Tourism Association, the festival of kite (locally known as wau) will take place in Tumpat and have competitions in three categories of local, national and international levels. The event will also feature expo and sales carnival, fishing competition, cultural performances, water sports and many others, making Kelantan your ideal destination this coming weekend.

We have a kite festival in Washington, DC every Spring and it’s very fun, plus it has some treally amazing kites.
