Sepang F1 Race Day: Who will get to the podium?

Sepang F1 Race Day: Who will get to the podium?

Felipe Massa may be starting in the pole position today at Sepang International Circuit, but my gut feeling is telling me that Fernando Alonso will once again be crowned as the champion at the Kuala Lumpur’s leg of the famous Formula 1 race. He won at Sepang last year for Mc Laren, but this year Fernando Alonso will be lucratively driving for Renault. He is humble enough to play down his chance in this year’s race but I think Alonso will be one of the podium winners, if not the champion. Just like in previous years, I will be watching …read more

Cyberjaya Lake Garden Community Club

Cyberjaya Lake Garden Community Club

I finally had time to see what Cyberjaya Lake Garden Community Club (Kelab Komuniti Taman Tasik Cyberjaya) is all about. I must admit, I must have missed something that I should have visited a long time ago especially when I was still working in Cyberjaya.

After sending my daughter to her school in Cyberjaya last Saturday, I decided to make a detour on my way back only to be amazed by what Cyberjaya Lake Garden Community Club had to offer. This under utilized community club (maybe due to its location in Cyberjaya which is a bit too far off in the …read more

Golf: I finally did it today at KLGCC

Golf: I finally did it today at KLGCC

The photo above shows the golf driving range at the club house belonging to the same developer that I had purchased my property more than three years ago. The golf driving range had been completed but until now it is still not open for us which had been promised a free membership when we purchased the property from the developer.
That aside, I had been toying around with the idea of getting involved with the sport for quite some time, but had never got the chance or rather the gut to actually start with the game… although some two weeks ago …read more

Malaysia Boleh spirit doesn’t seem to work on Malaysian soccer team

Malaysia Boleh spirit doesn’t seem to work on Malaysian soccer team

No matter what or how, the national soccer team seems to be having a mental blok of some kind. Millions of public money have been spent on soccer that covers every known aspect of soccer development. The team was sent for overseas training. Matches with top international teams were arranged at huge costs. Sponsorhips are abundance. Fans support were always there. But what did we get in return? Nothing but failure upon failure…. that’s what we were returned with after faithfully supporting the soccer team.
Malaysian soccer team had been a disgrace for sometimes now. I think they were given too …read more

Michael’s Badminton Academy in Bandar Puteri Puchong

Michael’s Badminton Academy in Bandar Puteri Puchong

I just came back from Bandar Puteri Puchong where I played badminton at Michael’s Badminton Academy with my office mates after a long day at work. My friends had been asking me to join them for a while but I had been giving them cold shoulders. But tonight I made up my mind that I need some exercise to trim off some excess fat and to relief myself from stress at work. I used to play soccer but at my age I totally rule out soccer or even futsal.
Badminton is my favourite game since my childhood. However, tonight’s game …read more

McLaren dominated Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix

McLaren dominated Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix

It was an easy win for Fernando Alonso but Lewis Hamilton had to work a little bit harder for the second place with Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen haunting him at third place. Alonso’s win ended McLaren’s 20-race victory drought infront of spectator-packed grandstand that is a record in itself for a Malaysian F1 race.
Alonso is the first McLaren winner in the Malaysian GP after Raikkonen in 2003. He is also the first McLaren race-winner since October 2005 when Raikkonen won the Japanese GP.
