Yes.. in Penang you can. Shopping for durian has gone upmarket in Penang and I found this to be really interesting. At least three stalls in Penang now accept credit cards… the stalls are located at Jalan Van Praagh, Relau and Mt Erskine.
Seng Durian Enterprise owner Ngang Boon Seng said: “Just like supermarkets and boutiques which accept credit cards, we want to offer such flexibility to our customers, too.”
“And business has been good as customers tend to buy more using credit cards,” he said, adding that a customer recently bought RM800 worth of durians.

For some reasons, Malaysians love to do shopping at night. The existence of pasar malam (night markets) in every corner of the country is the testimony of this. Shopping at Alamanda, Putrajaya

I went shopping with my wife and kids at Alamanda today. The children are starting school next week so there are a lot of shopping to be done. Alamanda is one of the nearest shopping centre around where I live in Seri Kembangan. The ultra modern shopping center is located in the Malaysia’s new administrative capital of Putrajaya, about 15-20 minutes away from Cyberjaya, where I work.
We did all our shopping today at Carrefour, one of the hypermarkets operating in Malaysia. Everything, well almost everything, is available there at reasonable prices.
