A reader of my blog sent me an email with a link to a chalet in Malacca. Mesra Chalet is located in Pangkalan Balak, Masjid Tanah, Malacca. I have been to Pengkalan Balak a couple of times quite a long time ago but I can’t remember which chalet I had stayed in at that time. From the look of this photo, I suspect that I probably I had stayed in this chalet before but my memory can’t recall this for sure.

I was in Malacca for a one-day trip recently and here are some pictures and a video for you to enjoy. In general Malacca is a nice historical state to visit. The city is clean and there are a lot of things you can do in Malacca.

We stopped at the city center and walked around near the river and Jonker Street. You can take a river boat tour there however the river is not too pleasant to the eyes. We gave that one a miss.

I will be taking my family (except my son who is in Dungun) for a weekend in Malacca, the Historic City. We have been to this small state of Malacca on short trips before but this time we will stay longer to explore Malacca as much as we can. I have not booked a place to stay yet because I am not sure if we want to stay overnight in Malacca or elsewhere.
