It’s 3:28am in Singapore and I am still facing the laptop screen, mixing work and personal things to do. OK I admit I am sleepless maybe due to the fact that I had gone to bed a bit earlier today after finishing my official duty.
But the fact that two significant events had happened while being far away from home left just a little bit of regret in myself but then, life has to go on no matter what.

Shouldn’t Najib, Gani Patail and Musa Hassan take a long leave too while their names are cleared of all allegations? Wishful thinking ehh?
Ohhh, by the way, Pak Lah of all people is the one who should have taken the longest leave…. a permanent one… after his dismal performance in the recent election.

The PIKOM PC Fair 2007 (III) started 30th Nov 2007 and will end tomorrow 16th December 2007. I spent the whole morning at the Kuala Lumpur’s leg of PIKOM PC Fair 2007 (III) held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) last Sunday. The three-times a year fair (used to be held annualy) is just getting bigger every year… if you attend the one at the KLCC, be prepared to walk for kilometers to cover the whole lot of booths selling nothing else but IT stuff.

Time flies so fast and before you notice it, Kuala Lumpur is Home is now already one year old. Kuala Lumpur is Home will be featuring regular online home cooking demos showing how I cook my favourite dishes. Since I am not running a recipe site here, there will be no recipes provided, instead I will just provide pictures and videos of what I use in my cooking which I just estimate anyway… I hope you will get use to estimating the quantity of each recipe as you develop your culinary skills. I managed to shoot some videos of some of the blogger panelists at the BUM2007 gathering… however uploading had been quite slow so I posted what I have uploaded first especially for those who had missed the event for whatever reasons. Despite sustaining some injury on my ribs when I was doing a DIY project at home yesterday, I managed to attend the Blogger United Malaysia 2007 gathering held yesterday evening at the Lake View Club Subang Jaya.
I had fallen off the aluminium ladder and landed my ribs on a chair. The chair was badly damaged and my ribs now are severely in pain even by slight movement. I just came back from Bandar Puteri Puchong where I played badminton at Michael’s Badminton Academy with my office mates after a long day at work. My friends had been asking me to join them for a while but I had been giving them cold shoulders. But tonight I made up my mind that I need some exercise to trim off some excess fat and to relief myself from stress at work. I have on three ocassions applied for withdrawals of my Employee Provident Fund (EPF) or Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP). The first one was for the initial deposit towards the purchase of my house and the last two were to reduce the balance of my housing loan with the Bank.
In all three occasions, I am very happy with efficiency of KWSP’s services. The staff were very helpful and friendly and delivered what they promised. Am I dreaming? Are you dreaming too? The picture shows my Toyota Unser covered in snow…. but here in Kuala Lumpur? I must be kidding myself. The weather is sunny and its hot and humid at 32 degree Celcius in Kuala Lumpur…. impossible.
