Ban production and sale of motorcycles too, which can not only help to eliminate snatch thefts, but also motorcycles theft amd illegal racing among Mat Rempits
Close all children playgrounds and public parks to prevent kidnapping of children
Close all shopping centers to prevent ‘budaya lepak’ among youngsters
Ban the production and circulation of currency to eliminate thefts, bank robberies, money politics and other money-related crimes. Re-introduce barter systems.

When a friend SMSed me last Friday morning informing the court had acquitted Abdul Razak Baginda in Altantuya’s murder case, I wasn’t surprised at all. Neither was I frustrated. This is Malaysia we are talking about.

For a while, Malaysians, or MCA and Gerakan members to be more specific, thought there is going to be new MCA and Gerakan emerging from the summit of both parties recently.

How obvious. Sending RPK to Kamunting when his habeas corpus application is about to he heard is yet another desperate act by Pak Lah and his increasingly obselete and irrelevant government.
This is clearly another proof that the ISA is in fact an ‘Ikut Suka Aku’ act continually being misused by the power that be to surpress dissenting views among the opposition parties and their supporters.

Thanks to God Almighty, Teresa, Sheih and Tan had been released. Thanks also for the relentless efforts from various pressure groups who had been very vocal and consistent in their campaigns to repeal ISA. But obviously whatever done so far still not good enough. RPK and 60-odds detainees are still being kept in Kamunting and will likely be celebrating Aidil Fitri and many other festivals behind lockups.

Three people arrested under ISA. Raja Petra Kamaruddin, or RPK as he is popularly known, arrested for comments allegedly insulting Islam and Prophet Muhammad that had appeared in his blog Malaysia Today. Bear in mind, weeks before his ISA arrest, RPK had published explosive article linking certain high profile individuals to the Altantuya murder case. The DNA bill being pushed through by the BN lawmakers is so scary, not just to Anwar Ibrahim… but also to any Tom, Dick or Harry. Here are some of the reasons:

… the legislation empowers a senior policeman to be the head of the forensic DNA databank.
… clause in the bill allows a policeman to use ‘all means necessary’ when taking non-intimate DNA samples (saliva or hair samples, for instance) from a suspect

Did you remember how super quick the BN jokers in the August House passed a legislation just so that Rashid’s service at the Election Commission can be extended? Well, it looks like there is going to be another entry in the BN’s book of record with regards to the DNA bill.

Anwar Ibrahim is lucky to have escaped jail when he was freed on bail today.
For fellow blogger Bakaq a.k.a Penarik Beca though, fate has it that he would be arrested by police under Sedition Act. I don’t know why he was arrested under the Sedition Act, but I pray to Allah that He will protect our fellow blogger Bakaq a.k.a Penarik Beca while he is in police custody.
May Allah also protect Bakaq’s family and grant upon them strength, patience and assistance to go through this tough time. Life goes on for bloggers in Malaysia.
