Kelantanese will soon enjoy free wireless internet service however the PAS-led State Government will make sure access to undesirable sites such as online dating, crime-related and pornography sites (according to the state government’s own definition obviously…) are blocked.
KOTA BARU: Kelantan will block access to online dating, crime-related and pornography websites when it launches its free Internet wireless service.
State Information committee chairman Dr Mohamed Fadzli Hassan (PAS-Temangan) said the wi-fi service was available in parts of the state capital on a trial run basis.

During my return trip to Kuala Lumpur after my recent Aidil Fitri vacation, I had a very bad feeling that there was going to be a big traffic jam so I didn’t follow the normal routes. Instead, starting my journey at about 11:30am from Pulau Melaka, I head off to Tok Bali through Bachok, and then from Tok Bali I cut accross to Pasir Putih and then merged with the mad traffic in Machang.

Although I am a Kelantanese, I have never heard of this place Kuala Koh ever in my entire life, let alone to set my foot there.
Thanks to Pak Zawi, I now know Kuala Koh, in the disctrict of Gua Musang, is yet another alternative entry point to the popular Taman Negara (National Park).

There is a halal convention and carnival currently held at the Sultan Muhammad ke-IV Stadium in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Organized by Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Kelantan, the Karnival Halal Kelantan 2008 is scheduled from 23rd until 29th July 2008.

I attended the Kelantanese meeting Ayah Zid program at Hotel Nikko last night and what a night it was. The room was packed and there were still others following the proceeding outside the function room. Malaysiakini reported that there were 1500 of us last night. Ayah Zid had even told the organizer that the crowds who were standing at the back could move to the front and sit on the stage. Now can you name just one BN top leader who had done that in their functions at any hotel?

This pious Kelantan Chief Minister, known as Ayah Zid among the Kelantanese (yours truly included), actually has an official Chief Minister residence more popularly known as JKR 10 in Kota Bharu. But being a humble Menteri Besar he is, Ayah Zid chooses not to live at the official Chief Minister residence. Instead he chooses to live in his own house in Pulau Melaka (where yours truly was born and grew up). Ayah Zid only stays at the official residence JKR 10 occassionally.

Folks….. I have tried this before and believe me this Made-in-Kelantan Royal Murtabak is good. At RM11 per piece it is quite expensive but it’s so thick, big and yummy you’d rather pay RM11 for one of these instead of RM3 for three or so of other murtabaks. Hmmm… I can’t wait to go back to Kelantan this coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri and enjoy these great stuff. Thanks to the Star for featuring this murtabak in today’s edition of Star Online.
