Call it whatever, Malaysiakini’s report today may have put it in the right perspective…. PM is getting a dose of UMNO’s own medicine. Ronnie Liu, DAP’s central executive committee member, had lodged a police report against Pak Lah over a seditious comments in an article that was posted in the Prime Minister’s official website on Nov 14 last year entitled ‘Bersatulah Kaum Cina’ (The Chinese race must unite).

The police report against RPK by Muhammad Taib as UMNO Information Chief must have backfired for the Selangor’s ex-Chief Minister a.k.a Mat Tyson and UMNO in general. Suffice to say the police report had more negatives effect on Mat Tyson and UMNO. 50% Malaysian household to have broadband services by 2010: Are our service providers ready?

I read yesterday’s news about the National Broadband Implementation Plan with much interest. The government is targeting to have 50% Malaysian household to have broadband servcies by 2010. I hope the gorvernment, or the party entrusted by the government, would think about the implementation in great detail in order to achieve the ambitious plan, especially in forming the partnership with either private or public sector.
Although there are a number of servcie providers offering broadband in Malaysia, most of them still rely on the infrastructure provided by Telekom Malaysia which also offers its own brand of broadband service Streamyx. Sadly …read more
