Pak Lah quit in 2010: Why endure another 2 years of weak leadership?

It is just amusing. Pak Lah should know why Malaysian people, even UMNO members, want him to resign. It is due to, among others, his weak leadership that had led to BN’s massive loss in the recent general election. You can come up with 1001 reasons why Pak Lah should resign, but all those can be summarized into one, a very weak leadership.
If the leader is weak then, why would the country want to put up with another two years of mediocre Prime Minister? Why Pak Lah want to force Malaysian people to suffer for another two years under his …read more

DBKL to build secure motorcycles parking bays

DBKL to build secure motorcycles parking bays

It took so long but DBKL has finally got it right… I hope.
DBKL has allocated RM1 million to provide 3,300 secured parking bays for motorcycles.
The motocycles parking bays will be installed with wheel locks to prevent motorbikes theft which is quite rampant in this country.
We hope this move by DBKL will be emulated by other city councils throughout Malaysia to curb motorcycle thefts.

The People’s Anti-Oil Manipulation Movement (Geramm) – a coalition of NGOs and Pakatan Rakyat youth groups had changed the date for anti-fuel price hike rally from 12th July to 5th July citing tactical reasons. It has targeted 1 million protesters which if successful will be much bigger than 100,000 protesters at the recent pre-election Bersih rally.
Going by the hardship faced by people from all walks of life, the 41% percent hike on fuel price will potentially invite millions of ordinary Malaysians to the street. When will Pak Lah’s government listen to their employer…. the people?

The government is proud to say that the money saved from the reduction in the subsidy is returned back to the people via the RM625 per year cash rebate for cars and RM150 for motorbikes.
According to Khoo Kay Peng, independent political analyst:
The RM625 rebate is definitely insufficient. That’s only worth about three months of fuel and we’re talking about a 60 percent increase of fuel hike. …read more
