Two weeks ago, me and my daughter (yes… I play golf with my daughters more than I do with friends… at least that is the trend for the time being) played at Danau Golf Club for the very first time despite the fact that this golf course is only 30 minutes away from my residence.

I have just returned from an un-planned short holiday to Port Dickson. This time I stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment at the Port Dickson Golf Country Club (PDGCC) which is located at Si Rusa, Port Dickson.
Here are some of the pictures around the swimming pool and the golf driving range.

I wish there is an olympic size swimming pool… but this pool is just as fun, especially for the kids.

I finally set my foot on a real golf course at Guthrie Golf Academy located in Bukit Jelutong on Monday this week, which was a public holiday. Although Guthrie Golf Academy is just an 18-holes par 3 golf course, which is specifically designed for training and practising, it is really good experience for first timer like me.

It has been almost three months since I started my golf hobby. No… I haven’t been to the actual golf course just yet. I am still practising and learning the swings at the driving range. Just last Saturday, I went to practice my putting for the very first time at one of the nearby golf resort… and boy… now I know it is not so easy after all.

After a Poco-Poco session with a few neighbours, me, my wife and my youngest daughter went for breakfast and then proceed to Kinrara Golf Club (KGC) for a golf practice session at the driving range. We spent about an hour there to finish 100 balls (for just RM10.00). Next time I will probably buy some coupons for RM150 that give me 2500 balls… that would mean a RM100-saving over the regular price of RM250 for 2500 balls. The coupons are valid until December 2008, so it would not be a bad deal after all.

This is my new beginner golf set. I bought this set at Jusco in Sunway Pyramid. If you are wondering how I choose my golf set…. I only have two words to say… gut feeling.
