I had reached home a little earlier than usual today and was pleasantly surprised by my wife who had cooked Laksa Penang. It has been a while since we had Laksa Penang at home. I visited one of my daughters at her hostel today and took her out for lunch. We went to Satay Kajang Hj Samuri located in, well.. Kajang of course. I haven’t been to Satay Kajang for a long time. So it was a nice lunch with my family.
Satay Kajang used to be available only in Kajang but Hj Samuri’s satay outlets had been expanding like nobody’s business. Now you can even find Satay Kajang Hj Samuri outlet at the Dengkil rest area along the highway to and from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

I dont know what’s wrong with me tonight I am craving for goreng pisang (banana fritters). And there isn’t any banana in the kitchen that I could ask my wife to make some goreng pisang for me….ohh no. I should have bought some banana that I had come acrossed at the fruit market last Sunday when I went shopping with my wife. I love cooking. This is what I and my wife cooked for today’s breakfast. Its called nasi lemak, a coconut flavoured rice meal. Nasi lemak is very famous in Malaysia, usually enjoyed by all Malaysian at breakfast. However the trend has changed, you can now get nasi lemak for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
