I am urgently looking for two trusted and capable persons (on voluntary and non-commercial basis) to help me monitor the fundraising activities that had just been launched (as auditors) to ensure the entire process is transparent and does not give any rise to doubts or speculations. Although the flood that had recently hit many parts of the country is finally over, the Johor folks who were the hardest hit can hardly forget about the worst natural disaster that had happened to them. Some of them had noting left, including the house. It will be many years, if ever, for some of these victims to recover from the emotional stress and disturbance resulting from the unexpected flood that had hit them twice in just a few weeks apart.

Johor had been hit by flood again. The second wave of non-stopped rain had brought much more damages to many more cities in Johor. Up to today, it had been reported that more than 100,000 victims had been evacuated from their homes for safety.
500mm and 700mm of rain fell in Johor within four days in December, equivalent to the total amount of rainfall for the state for two-and-a-half months to three months.
While other states are also affected by flood, Johor is the worst hit. Kota Tinggi evacuation centers had even reported that it cannot take any more victims. …read more

2006’s long school holiday is finally over. Luckily I am still on leave due to new year holiday which is brought forward because 1st January 2007 is already a public holiday. I had to send two of my daughters to the hostels today even thoug they will only start school tommorow. However both of them go to different school around Kuala Lumpur so half day today is just for sending the two girls.
