Blogger Kickdefella arrested under Sedition Act

Blogger Kickdefella arrested under Sedition Act

On August 20th 200, I asked myself, is Sheih next blogger to be arrested? Today, 17th September 2008, the question is duly answered, affirmative. Sheih had been arrested under Sedition Act, the same fearful law that was used to nab Bakaq a.k.a Penarik Beca.
For the uninitiated, Sheih is well known as an anti-establishment blogger for a long time, but his trouble only began when he started a blog campaign to fly the Malaysian flag upside down, giving the power that be a ‘good’ excuse to come down hard on Sheih and Sedition Act seems just perfect for that.
In the meantime, …read more

Sheih next blogger to be arrested?

Wow… Sheih a.k.a Kickdefella…. will you be elevated from current stardom to even greater height (pun intended) soon… now that the PM had voiced his unhapiness about you flying the Malaysian flag upside down?
How soon will the police act on you? Will it just for insulting the Malaysian flag (although you explained that it was meant to indicate a nation in distress) or will it include sedition also since you are asking others to follow suit and support you?

Blogger Bakaq a.k.a Penarik Beca detained under Seditious Act?

Anwar Ibrahim is lucky to have escaped jail when he was freed on bail today.
For fellow blogger Bakaq a.k.a Penarik Beca though, fate has it that he would be arrested by police under Sedition Act. I don’t know why he was arrested under the Sedition Act, but I pray to Allah that He will protect our fellow blogger Bakaq a.k.a Penarik Beca while he is in police custody.
May Allah also protect Bakaq’s family and grant upon them strength, patience and assistance to go through this tough time. Life goes on for bloggers in Malaysia.

The Kuala Lumpur Traveler post plagiarized, again!

This is one of my latest blog entries posted on August 5th, 2008 at 6:59:44 pm.

Later on that same day, another aspiring lazy-blogger cum idiot blogger had obviously plagiarised the same blog post, change some words here and there, proudly post it on his blog as his. By including the word Malaysiakini in his plagiarised blog entry, he even got his blog listed to appear in Mkini in Blogs section. Brilliant ehh? I’d say he is a stupid fool.
To the lazy-blogger cum idiot blogger jatt, I’d say, if you don’t know how to cook up your own stories for your …read more

Bloggers on strike? Come on laa…

Bloggers on strike? Come on laa…

To be totally honest… yes I am quite fed up too with all the mud slinging and the dirty politics being played by none other than our own (’stupid’) politicians, some of whom are voted into offices by none other than our-good-selves… but me, blogger, going on strike just because of that?
Come on laaa…. the one who should go on strike is the MSM journalists whose reports are dumped into the dustbin by their editors in place of their own (the editors) concocted stories trying to deceive the public of what really happened in this country.
Bloggers write about the …read more

Gopalan Nair: Arrested and charged in Singapore court

Gopalan Nair, a California-based blogger, had been arrested and charged in a Singapore court. His offence?
According to a court document, Nair is charged with insulting Justice Belinda Ang Saw Ean last Thursday by sending an email which said she “was throughout prostituting herself during the entire proceedings, by being nothing more than an employee of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his son and carrying out their orders”.
Source: Yahoo News
In his blog post where he gave his telephone number and the name of the hotel he was staying in, Gopalan wrote:

Mahathir…. blogger of the year?

Mahathir…. blogger of the year?

Mahathir commanded a lot of love and hatred during his hey days as the Prime Minister of Malaysia… so when he launched his own blog (because the main stream media had shunned him in their reports… kind of getting to taste his own medicine… you know what I mean) a lot of people would be interested to read what he has to say now that he is now an ex-prime minister.
His blog, Che Det dot Com had achieved one million hits in just one month after being launched.
Touching one million hits among bloggers seem to be something to be …read more
