Anautica expedition: Traversing Africa and South East Asia in a motorhome

by CJCM on June 3rd, 2008

Anautica expeditionStar Online 31st May 2008 edition has an interesting story about ANdre, AUdrey, TItouan and CAtherine (hence ANAUTICA) who are on a travel expedition in a truck motorhome called Tembo, swahili for ‘elephant’.

The family of four travelling in this highly equipped truck modified for extended motorhome travel is now in Malaysia as part of their journey to see Africa and South East Asia on wheels. Read more about this interesting journey in Star Online.

I really like this idea of travelling in a motorhome but spending 5 years in a self-contained truck like these four adventurers is not my idea of fun though. But if I have my way, spending two weeks in New Zealand in a motorhome large enough to accomodate my entire family of seven would be something that I am really looking forward to in the future…. if only my wish would come through.
