The B5Media network:

Abdul Razak Baginda freed: Wonder no more…..

When a friend SMSed me last Friday morning informing the court had acquitted Abdul Razak Baginda in Altantuya’s murder case, I wasn’t surprised at all. Neither was I frustrated. This is Malaysia we are talking about.

This is the only land in the entire world where an attorney general had been accused of tampering with the evidence in a court case and yet still serving the justice department as if nothing had happened. This is also the land where no less than an IGP was personally involved in assaulting no less than an ex deputy prime minister by beating him almost to death in what is more popularly known as the black-eye incident.

Very recently, it was in this country called Bolehland that a government official explained in parliment that a decision to purchase military helicopters worth more than RM1.6 billion was actually done without any physical inspection.

A lawyer and a judge holidaying together? The VK Lingam video case? The disappearance of a private investigator Balasubramaniam after he came out with two conflicting statutory declarations implicating a senior minister in the Altantuya murder case?

Are you still wondering? Poor you!

And that purported sms, could it be a case where the wife or children just borrowed it to send a msg to a friend having the same name as the lawyer?
