Round 2 is on 28 & 29 March at Dataran Johor Bahru, Johor
Round 3 is on 20 & 21 June at Kuantan, Pahang
Round 4 is on 1 & 2 Aug at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall
Round 5 is on 7 & 8 Nov at MAPAAC PJ
The International Super Seven Championship (ISSC) is on 1-3 May 2009 at Dataran PJ.

This is what had been said by The National Fatwa Council’s Chairman Datuk Dr Abdul Shukor Husin :
….yoga had been practised by the Hindu community for thousands of years and incorporated physical movements, religious elements together with chants and worshipping, with the aim of “being one with God”.

They keep fooling us around, don’t they? I am talking about the government and Malaysian business entities in general, especially the large conglomerate here in this Bolehland.
Remember when the world crude oil price shot up past USD120 per barrel? We, the country, made money… lots of money because we are a net oil exporter country. But the government, despite numerous protests, went ahead and raised the fuel price with a whoping 40% increase. We were devastated. Tony Fernandes will not be happy to hear this news. From 1st Nov 2008 till 31st Aug 2009, Tiger Airways, a Singapore-based budget airline, will fly you between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur for only SGD29.00 one way…. that is really a super cheap airfare even by AirAsia standard.

Just to be very sure, I tried to book online at the Tiger Airways website (without completing the online booking), and for a Kuala Lumpur – Singapore return flight on 14th Nov 2008, returning on 16th November 2008 cost me only RM184.00 (tax free) excluding luggage allowance. It may not be completely fair to compare Najib and Obama for obvious reasons, but the following differences should be interesting enough for Malaysians to ponder although it is very much insignificant to the Americans.

Obama will report for duty in Jan 2009 while Najib will assume the premiership post in March 2009.
Obama won the presidential candidate fights in both within his own party as well as between Democrat and Republican while Najib sort of inherited the prime minister post given to him on a silver platter…. virtually un-challenged within his party by virtue of being the no 2 man in …read more

In a press conference, Azmi Khalid said this:
Azmi told reporters in Parliament after a PAC meeting that the committee found no procedural abuse in the Eurocopter tender process.
Then, in the same press conference, he said this:
[...] committee was concerned that there was no physical examination on the 12 Eurocopter helicopters which the government wanted to purchase.
[...] Azmi added that among the main concerns of PAC was that there were no detailed physical inspections on the 12 Eurocopter helicopters before the government stated its intention to purchase them.

In response to Musa Hasan’s Police mull plan to ban motorcycles in cities, towns I would like to suggest more crime prevention ideas for Musa Hasan to consider…

Ban production and sale of motorcycles too, which can not only help to eliminate snatch thefts, but also motorcycles theft amd illegal racing among Mat Rempits
Close all children playgrounds and public parks to prevent kidnapping of children
Close all shopping centers to prevent ‘budaya lepak’ among youngsters
Ban the production and circulation of currency to eliminate thefts, bank robberies, money politics and other money-related crimes. Re-introduce barter systems.

When a friend SMSed me last Friday morning informing the court had acquitted Abdul Razak Baginda in Altantuya’s murder case, I wasn’t surprised at all. Neither was I frustrated. This is Malaysia we are talking about.
This is the only land in the entire world where an attorney general had been accused of tampering with the evidence in a court case and yet still serving the justice department as if nothing had happened.
