Regent’s consent: You saw and read it, but now you don’t
I was reading this piece in Bernama where it was reported there was no consent given by the Raja Muda of Perak to Nik Aziz and Hadi of PAS to give Friday prayer sermons in Perak.

Now, I am quite puzzled. I thought I saw and read the news in Bernama too about Perak Raja Muda giving consent to the two PAS leaders to deliver Friday prayer sermons in the state. Googling appropriate words, I managed to find the full news at Yahoo! Malaysia News. You can click the thumbnail to see the screen capture of the news.
You should notice, both news are dated 14th August 2008 although only one has the time stamp on it. Still not satisfied, I searched for “sermon consent” in the Bernama archive using the search facility within the site itself. I also searched the archive for 14th August 2008. To my surprise, I only managed to find this one only:
Palace Has Not Consented To Hadi Awang, Nik Aziz Giving Sermons In Perak
What happened? Where is the first news about the Regent of Perak giving consent which appeared in Yahoo! Malaysia News? Has Bernama taken the first news off its site? If yes, why? If not? where is it?
Is Bernama playing David Copperfield magic with this issue? Ermmm… interesting indeed.
