New petrol price: The flip flop continues
It’s not that we should be complaining about the new lower petrol and diesel prices just announced by the ‘people-caring’ (notice the inverted quotes?) Flip-Flop BN Government… but its the flip flop decision-making from the flip flop BN Government lead by Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy that we all should worry about.
Didn’t Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy’s BN Government say that any new fuel price will only be effected from September 1 and that no new price will be announced prior to September 1? The decision do effect new prices only on September 1 (or I assume on every 1st of the month for that matter) was due to the fact that the new price will be reviewed monthly to reflect the previous month average prices of the commodity in the world market.
But suddenly, as we all would have suspected, Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy’s BN Government announced new prices, obviously ahead of the Permatang Pauh by-election…. clearly another act of desparation by the Flip-Flop BN Government.
To the people of Permatang Pauh who are going to come out in droves come the by-election day 26th August 2006, you should remember what PAS’s spiritual leader Tuan Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat used to tell the Kelantenese people…. take the money, take the batik, take the sugar (given by the BN Government during elections campaign) but when it comes to voting, please cross the moon.
So Permatang Pauh voters, do take the new prices prices announced by Flip-Flop BN Government but comes 26th August, vote PKR of Pakatan Rakyat for your indepencence. By the way, thanks to the Flip-Flop BN Government for yet another coincidence.
Further, watch out folks…. Mr Nice-Flip-Flop-Guy already said:
He gave an assurance that the petrol price would not exceed RM2.70 a litre for this year, even if the global market price went up.
