Money politics: Let UMNO Baru digs its own grave
Well, Muhyiddin’s concern about UMNO Baru’s critical conditions due to rampant corruption within UMNO Baru is neither new nor shocking. Mahathir also had been preaching about this during his hey days at the top of the UMNO Baru leadership and he still does it now even though he is no more a member of UMNO Baru..
Strange isn’t it? While Muhyiddin is saying:
“I’ve received unofficial reports that it has become rampant at all levels and it is frightening if this becomes normal practice in future. It is sad if one day, the people see this problem as synonymous with Umno. The situation must be corrected before the next general election,” he said.

but UMNO Baru’s Dicsiplinary Committee and ACA could not find the real culprits?
But then, UMNO Baru’s enemies (the opposition parties) should not be complaining really…. UMNO Baru members can continue with their traditions of money politics as they wish. Do it openly or behind closed doors, why should they (the oppositions) care? If the UMNO Baru Disciplin Committee and ACA are finding it hard to prosecute and Muhyiddin is saying it is rampant…. so be it. The oppositions should know, the more money politics being practiced by UMNO Baru members the better because the closer UMNO Baru is to its own demise. In fact, the opposition parties should thank UMNO Baru members who practise money politic (and if you long to see the end of UMNO Baru, maybe you should too) because it makes the job of finishing UMNO Baru a little, if not much, easier.
