PKR punched PKR?
Star Online reported:
Kelana Jaya MP Loh Gwo Burne from PKR has lodged a police report that he was assaulted by a man believed to be the personal assistant of Seri Setia assemblyman Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad from the same party.
It is learnt the alleged incident occurred during the ground-breaking ceremony for a place of worship at Desa Mentari here at about 3pm.
[....]He said the problem started two weeks ago when residents complained about construction of the building and he was unable to find out who was responsible for the construction.
“When I arrived there today, I kept on asking him (the aide), ‘Who was responsible for this?’ I must have asked him about 10 times and pointed at him saying that, ‘You as a PA should know’. That was when he punched me in the face above my right eye,” he said.

This is a great source of embarrassment for PKR. Loh Gwo Burne may have been too pushy but there was no reason for that aide of Nik Nazmi to punch Loh Gwo Burne. For God sake, both are members of a party within Pakatan Rakyat… but what happened is hardly in the spirit of ‘pakatan’. Shame on both of you. PKR should deal with both of them seriously.

When a representative of the people is fight for the concerns of the people, should he not push for it? Would the people expect anything less? Or do you suggest that your representatives roll over and die like MIC and MCA have been doing for decades?
Shame on someone fighting for the people and getting punched for it? Clearly the concept of justice is Alien to you.
CJCM: You got me wrong. I am not shame for them fighting for the people. Why Loh had to be so pushy and needed to ask 10 times when the aide clearly doesn’t know? The aide, on the other hand, should not punch Loh no matter what. Those are what I am ashamed of… aren’t you?
Hi, stumbled upon here from the toronto traveler’s blog. i thought your blog was supposed to be a travel and culture blog ? and all i read is politics. i do understand the political hype in malaysia currently, but don’t you think you’ve served your blog purpose falsely? just my 2 cents. anywaes, im from malacca. and if a traveller read your post on malacca, i’d say its too brief and barely helpful =/ but who am i to judge, i’ve only read your KL attractions, pictures and the malacca post. (stuff dat im more familiar with)
CJCM: TQ Rileen for your comment. There is a long story to this… but to cut the story short, suffice to say The Kuala Lumpur Traveler actually emerged from a previous blog which was not 100% travel related. But then even politics was never meant to be the only focus in this and previous blog. Like you say, “…the political hype in Malaysia…” explains why there are more political discussions here at this jucture but then I may be taking this political thing a bot too much. I need to create more space for travel and culture. I also read your comment in your blog and I totally understand where you are coming from and your point of view. TQ again for visiting.
