Geert Wilders: Here is my boycott list of Dutch companies and its products
I don’t understand why a civilised nation that practises democracy, has to keep offending a well-accepted worldwide religion and its worldwide followers and believers, just because some citizens do not agree with a religion’s belief. Worst still, this nation called Netherland doesn’t seem to learn from past mistakes.
Not very long time ago, a Danish cartoonist drew some caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which was clearly insulting and humiliating the Prophet and Islam… sending Moslems around the world to the streets in protests. A Danish newspaper even re-printed the offending cartoons the next day. But did they learn anything?
Not only they were not repentent, the latest act of insulting Islam through a 15-minutes film called FITNA clearly demonstrated to the world that some Dutch smart ass is totally insensitive to Islam and Moslems around the world.
While Dutch businesses are toying around with the idea of suing that stupid Geert Wilders, I am already launching my own boycott of Dutch products that I can identify and can live without. This boycott will last until I decide to do otherwise. Will you join me in boycotting the following products from Netherland corporations?
- Shell service stations – I actually use Petronas NGV anyway.
- ING insurances – Since the insurance premium is already paid, there is no point for me to boycot this ING service as the insurer will make more profit. So I will continue using this service. But if you or your company is thinking to signup with ING, you may want to consider alternatives.
- Unilever products- This is a Netherland/UK company, nevertheless I am boycotting all its products. Many of Unilever’s products are on the shelves of Malaysian supermarkets. Boycot these brands (Cooking and eating – Ben’s & Jerry, Knorr, Planta, Lady’s Choice, Lipton, Wall’s ice cream & Breeze detergents, Beauty products – Clear, Dove, fais & Lovely, Lux, Pond, Rexona & Sunsilk. See the website for more products.).
- ABN Amro Bank – well I never deal with the bank anyway.
- Phillips electrical appliances – I love Samsung better.
- TNT courier services – I hardly use courier service, but even when I need one, TNT will definitely not be my preferred one.
- Danone dairy products
- Baby foods products – Milupa, Dumex, Mellin, Cow & Gate, Nutricia
- Nutricia clinical products
Please see comments why this is deleted.
For consumer products, you should not throw any Dutch product you already bought. Use them for now but please consider alternatives in your next purchase.
Now, if any of my reader is from Netherland or working for any company from Netherland, I apologize to you if my post offend you in any way or cause you any inconvenience or if you are not part of the whole thing or even if you yourself regret these stupid acts by your countrymen. I have to do what I have to do and I sincerely believe you also have to what you have to do. You owe it to yourselves to pressure your government (or the company you work for to pressure the Dutch government) to take actions againt the moronic Dutch citizens Parlimentarian who has no regards for world peace and religious tolerance.
If you know any other Dutch consumer products that I have overlooked, please list them in the comment area. And if you are a Moslem, you owe it to yourself to email this post to all your Moslem friends around the world so that we, Moslems, once and for all, can make our voices heard and not taken for granted by some selfish citizens of any country or followers of any religion.

Dont know about the other products on your list but ABN AMRO Bank NV should be taken off your list.
Though incorporated in Netherlands, ABN AMRO has been taken over by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc since end of last year.
CJCM: Although taken over by The Royal Bank of Scotland, AMRO Bank NV will stay in my the list.
Yes, they love to provoke us..I wonder why? I’ll bear that in mind whenever I go shopping.
Thanks!
first thank you for linking this blog to mine. Patriot also posted a blog about relating to this topic. He mentioned SHELL. After visiting the website this is what we can read: The full merger of the two companies into the Royal Dutch Shell Group came in 1907. There were two separate holding companies with Royal Dutch taking 60% of earnings and Shell Transport taking 40%. The business was run by a variety of operating companies. The merger transformed the fortunes of both companies. Under the management of Henry Deterding they turned from struggling entities to successful enterprises within twelve months.
Now i know that SHELL is owned by Netherlands.
The Chief Executive is Jeroen van der Veer. Its Ducth.
I have been buying SHELL last and prefer PETRONAS. Buy Malaysian.
CJCM: I used to prefer Shell prior converting to NGV. Now I always use Petronas. With this happening, I hope all Malaysians Muslims will boycott Shell.
Do whatever you feel you have to do. Do you have any idea how much money the Dutch government (paid for by the dutch people) gives to Pakistan for help? We supply for fresh drinking water, education, energy, sanitation etc. etc.
We give Pakistan 41.000.000 euros per year (that is 4,064,959,479 PKR).
Now I’m fine with you boycotting Dutch products but please also return our money from the last 10 years. Thank you.
CJCM: I am sure you know, other countries also give money to all people from other countries from various religious background. But they do not insult other people’s religion. In your country’s case, it involves a politician that is also running your country. This is not acceptable. I am sure there is no way to return the money to your country, but by the same token, please also return my money that Muslims have paid for Dutch products for donkey years. TQ for visiting us here.
really?
Muslims make nothing to boycott, they are parasites feeding off the people of the world. The only things they offer is arrogance, ignorance and death to non-muslims that do not not become their slaves.
**Comment partially deleted****
CJCM: I knew this will be forthcoming. You are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. But to come here in this blog and leave rude comment is not what I expect to say the least. All we are asking is not to insult us and our religion.. is that too much to ask? BTW… show me the case where we expect non-Muslims to become our slave. TQ for visiting.
I thought Danone was a French company?
CJCM: Maybe it used to… but now it is listed as owned by Dutch company Royal Numico as listed Forbes Global 2000 companies.
Not making an insurance claims is a good thing for your insurer. They make money on the fact that most people will pay their premiums, but never actually make a claim.
I’m with Barend – say what you like, the Dutch government has done is fair share for the developing world, and benefitted many a Muslim.
I am a Malaysian, and I’ve heard, read and seen offensive things about Christianity – it didn’t make me want to burn cars, boycott goods and kill people. I respect (however unhappily) someone elses right to an opinion.
-Patrick
CJCM: TQ for the tip about insurance claim. I just realized it last night and have updated as such prior to ur comment here. Regarding offensive things against Christianity, it is your prerogative whether to take any action or not. I assure you there are many more offensive things hurled at Islam but something like this is totally irresponsible and provocative. Am glad that you respect my rights… if that Dutch politician has the same respect about religious freedom, he shouldn’t have come up with the video in the first place… but then if he is entitled to his right, so are we Muslims.
**** comment deleted *****
CJCM: This boycott is about pressuring Dutch government to take action against its Parleimentarian who have ignored the calls not to invoke the anger of Muslims around the world by releasing an irresponsibly-produced video that had insulted Islam. Two comments from this reader however consist of long preaching articles about one religion against another religion. I do not indulge myself in such discussion and neither am I going to allow such comments to appear in this blog. If you have any urge to promote your own religious belief, please start your own blog and invite similar comments from like minded readers. TQ for visiting anyway.
i will try my best not to use any Dutch’s products.any of them ! and i will tell all my friends not to use it..i think it’s the right time to give them a lesson.let’s use our very own products
Allah bless u
Syukran jazilan(Thank You) for posting this list!
Danone is French. Just check their website, Wikipedia etc.
CJCM: I included Danone based on the fact that the product is listed under Numico website. Fro the benefit of doubt, since it is owned by French as in the Wikipedia (although Danone actually acquired Numico), I am taking this brand name off my list. TQ for everyone who had highlighted this.
Thanks for the list. My only hope is that this episode helps everyone, Muslim and non-muslims understand the concept of tolerance. I read with interest one of the comments made that negative things have been said about Christianity and other religion and I strongly condemn such acts. i am a muslim and as a good muslim, respect is a key to heaven. Moreover, Jesus(pbub) is a messenger of God stated clearly in the Quran. Any Muslim disrespecting the religion of Jesus (pbub) is disrespecting his own! To Patrick Prasad William, i would like to offer my sincere apologies to the comments made by the bigoted “Muslims” on your religion.
The main thing is for the muslims to stay united. No matter what the others think or do, we must practice our beliefs with Iman….
I agree with the boycotting but not the street protest/burning flags etc…
CJCM: TQ for visiting Ju!! Hv a nice day!!
[...] Jadi saya sebagai seorang Muslim yang merasa kecewa, menyokong protes kepada filem tersebut dengan menyaran diri saya agar tidak membeli barangan buatan Belanda. [...]
thanks for the list, now i know what products should i eliminate from my shopping list
CJCM: Happy shopping Harizah
First of all… thx for posting and speading the words out on boycotting dutch products.
I am totally agree with you, CJCM. Why would Geert film such an offending, insensitive film. What is it that bugs him so much to see the Muslims still behold their Islamic faith and Quran?
History Channel has shown a documentary on Muslims in the Middle East were educating the European during the Dark Ages. If you read your history Ted Poplan, you wouldn’t come out with “…Muslims make nothing to boycott, they are parasites feeding off the people of the world…” Muslims do make one thing: They make you have your business running and rich. That’s our mistake.
To Ibrahim al Murtad, please don’t use a Muslim name to talk about Christianity. You are so out of ideas!
Owh… and one more thing. I totally do not agree with Barend. Which beliefs have outline anything in their holybook that you can mock around one religion after a sincere donation? Totally irrelevant. Next…!!!!
I hope this boycott will succeed.
Saya pendukung/ penyokong produk Belanda Dutch untuk di Boikot
I posted the list by Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia is posted in my blog too.

Assalammualaikum for the muslims, i am a muslim of course, and i am very proud to be one.
I have nothing to say here because i am hundred percent agreed with CJCM..HOWEVER, i would to dedicate this poem to all the non muslim out there..enjoy! May Allah bless you ALWAYS.
I am a Muslim GIRL,
Feel free to ask me why?
When I walk, I walk with dignity,
When I speak I do not lie,
I am a Muslim GIRL,
Not all of me you’ll see,
But what you should appreciate,
Is that the choice I make is free,
I’m not plagued with depression,
I’m neither CHEATED nor ABUSED,
I don’t envy other women,
And I’m certainly not confused,
Note: I speak perfect English,
So you need not to speak slowly,
You often stare as I walk by,
You don’t understand my veil,
But peace and power I have found,
As I am equal girl,
So please don’t pity me,
For God has guided me to truth,
Back to the path of Islam..
And now I’m finally free!!!
CJCM: Wow… nice poem. Thx for sharing with ALL of us.
Tq for the list. Will be a selective buyer.
As a Muslim, I am saddened by the lack of understanding of Islam. There is nothing wrong with the Quran, just the people who choose to do selective reading and interpretation.
Am in agreement with Meor, to disrespect Jesus is to disrespect Islam, thus they can’t actually expect us to stoop that low can they?
CJCM, your answers show your tolence…we need more people like you!
CJCM: Sue… thx for the compliment… the whole world needs tolerant citizens in every aspect of life not just religion. Glad to have you here as my visitor. C U around.
[...] A visitor to my blog has shared this little poem in her response to my recent post. [...]
Dear CJCM,
thanx for the info, from now on i will always boycot those listed and tell all my friends about it. I’ll make sure all my shopping list out of DUTCH product!
***The remaining comment is removed***
CJCM: Happy shopping Watie..
Great news my beloved Muslims!!
Hope you all knew about the Denmark Newspaper who made fun of our loving prophet and our religion. The Denmark ambassador, prime minister, and Denmark channes, they are all trying to do something to stop the boycott made by Muslims months ago, by which their losses has reach to 2 billion Euro. If we continue to boycott Denmark products after 7 months it could reach about 70 billion Eueros!
Dear brothers, please spread the news to all your friends you know in order to rise up our spirit and warn Denmark and other hostile nation towards Islam that we, Muslims are more united than before and are NOT easy to break against anyone who thinking of insulting The Almighty’s message. Believers would not let this message stop in their PC. Peace be upon you.
Assalammualaikum, i found this really nice of poem and i really want to share it with you. So, i hope you like it as much as i do despite of how short it is. Peace be upon you!
Islam is a way of life, try it.
Islam is a gift, accept it.
Islam is a journey, complete it.
Islam is a struggle, fight for it.
Islam is a goal, achieve it.
Islam is an opportunity, take it.
Islam is not for sinners, overcome it.
Islam is not a game, don’t play with it.
Islam is not a mystery, behold it.
Islam is not for cowards, face it.
Islam is not for the dead, live it.
Islam is a promise, fulfill it.
Islam is a duty, perform it.
Islam is a treasure (the Prayer), pray it.
Islam is a beautiful way of life, see it.
Islam has a message for you, hear it.
Islam is love, love it!
Danone is not dutch, it is french
CJCM: Noted… TQ
Guys,
I think you are over reacting because of one idiot. You should not judge a complete nation for one person.
If you do, I think you do the same as Geert Wilders himself.
CJCM: Yes… maybe we are over reacting but we are not judging one nation for one person. Geert Wilders is a Statesman, we are trying to get the Duth government to work on this guy and stop him from his irresponsible act. I guess all boycotts are not fair to the entire nation but thats how it works, unfortunately.
there is no one over reacting here, some one insulted my prophet and my religion for no reason and what u want us to do? support him ,of course no ,no one is punishing that thing wilder,we are punishing those who let something like it do that irresponsible action.they knew that muslims will boycott their products, and they did nothing, and you are saying that we are over reacting!!!!!!!!!!!
i have started boycott from months,me and my family and friends, and we will keep going on it for the rest of our lives,we prefer to die better than even using a dutch product and danish too.
CJCM: Thank you for visiting this site.
