Indelible ink: Expect more tricks to come from SPR

No indelible ink will be used in 12th General ElectionDespite the title ‘Shock reversal: Indelible ink plan erased’ as reported by Malaysiakini yesterday, I am not shocked at all when SPR announced that the indelible ink will not be used after all. I had written in this blog before that the public should not be overly happy yet with the announcement made by SPR in middle of last year that the indelible ink will be deployed for the first time in Malaysia in the coming election. Sadly but true, the indelible ink now is just a history. Peace loving Malaysians are betrayed yet again by the very commission that is supposed to uphold democracy and ensure clean and fair elections in Malaysia.

Still fresh in our minds, just days before the nomination day, the SPR made an announcement that the candidate’s nomination forms must be duty-stamped, sending some panic moments to mostly unprepared opposition politicians in the northern and eastern states of Malaysia as the announcement was made too close to weekend for these states. SPR however retracted its stand on the nomination day itself after the ruling almost caused BN to lose some seats uncontested because they did not duty-stamp their nomination form.

The SPR also closed one eye, ignored the protest by the opposition party and accepted Rafidah Aziz’s nomination form even though the BN politician did not sign one of the nomination forms.

Going by what had happened in previous elections, SPR will defintely have more tricks in its sleeve even on the election day itself. Do you remember in the last general election…. the SPR had even unilaterally extended the voting time for one election center just to allow more time for more people to vote.

Do you also remember the SPR never recovered some ballot boxes that have been reported missing on their way to the vote counting center?

I will not be shocked also if the SPR will call off the general election for whatever reason or that the election results are declared null and void for whatever reasons if the opposition parties win big in this 12th general election.

Today, the whole world is laughing at Malaysia…. no thanks to SPR. There is only one way for all peace loving Malaysians to let BN and SPR taste their own medicines… and that is to explain these lies by BN and SPR to all friends and relatives and encourage all of them to turn out in full force this coming Saturday and vote the BN thieves and liers out of Malaysian Parliment and DUNs for good.

Will You Vote for Change? Vote Wisely Malaysian!

This episode confirms something we have known for a long time – our country is ruled by a bunch of ** deleted ***! After the initial anger has died down, what sets in is the scary realization that our country is in the hands of such perfect specimens of hopeless idiocy. They might as well have waved big flags proclaiming “We will cheat you blind in this election”. I wonder which is worse : a) that they know this is a stupid act but they simply didn’t care about the consequence or b) they didn’t think people could figure out their motive? I was especially flabbergasted by the reason they gave for scraping the ink idea: that some undesirable groups have smuggled in indelible ink from a neighboring country. So what are they proposing that these “undesirable groups” would do with the ink? Mark their own fingers so they can vote only once? Kidnap BN supporters and mark their fingers so that they can’t vote more than once?

    Com’on, please!

Their underestimation of other people’s intelligence is really insulting. Of course they must have been using their own intelligence as baseline. I think they have become too bloated rolling in the loot they plundered from our land that they are getting fatty tissue growths in their brains.*** Deleted ***
