Geert Wilders: Here is my boycott list of Dutch companies and its products

I don’t understand why a civilised nation that practises democracy, has to keep offending a well-accepted worldwide religion and its worldwide followers and believers, just because some citizens do not agree with a religion’s belief. Worst still, this nation called Netherland doesn’t seem to learn from past mistakes.
Not very long time ago, a Danish cartoonist drew some caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which was clearly insulting and humiliating the Prophet and Islam… sending Moslems around the world to the streets in protests. A Danish newspaper even re-printed the offending cartoons the next day. But did they learn anything?

Zenith Restaurant: A halal Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Blogging about Malaysian politic is not only tiring, but also makes you hungry. So I decided to go out and have something for dinner. After thinking it through, my family decided to try something new for us… Chinese style meals. But where to find a halal Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur? Well not terribly hard I’d say… thanks to Google. A quick internet search shows there is one in Desa Petaling, which is not too far from our place. Zenith Restaurant is owned by Haslinda Sim Abdullah who became a Muslim 20 years ago (follow the link for more …read more

PAS-PKR-DAP coalition Chief Ministers save almost RM1mil in less than one month

Barely one month into power, the PAS-PKR-DAP coalition state governments had saved almost RM1 million. How?
1. New Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guang Eng refused to spend RM100K on the renovation of the CM official residence.
“Dia (Lim) jawab: ‘Susahlah, kalau nak pindah kena perbaiki. Terpaksa belanja sampai RM100 ribu. Takkan saya nak belanja duit rakyat sampai RM100 ribu untuk kepentingan saya’

Not compulsory for teachers to attend state functions: Just another example of BN’s foolish act

By DERRICK VINESH
PENANG: No action will be taken against teachers who do not attend official functions organised by the new state government.
National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) Penang branch Lim Ming Tzong @ Adam Alim Abdullah said teachers in Penang no longer needed to give explanation letters for failing to attend such functions.
He said the teachers were granted the “flexibility” since the state was no longer under the Barisan Nasional rule.
“A senior state Education Department official recently told school heads at a briefing that attendance was immaterial.
“But, those who plan to attend such functions are …read more

Sepang F1 Race Day: Who will get to the podium?

Sepang F1 Race Day: Who will get to the podium?

Felipe Massa may be starting in the pole position today at Sepang International Circuit, but my gut feeling is telling me that Fernando Alonso will once again be crowned as the champion at the Kuala Lumpur’s leg of the famous Formula 1 race. He won at Sepang last year for Mc Laren, but this year Fernando Alonso will be lucratively driving for Renault. He is humble enough to play down his chance in this year’s race but I think Alonso will be one of the podium winners, if not the champion. Just like in previous years, I will be watching …read more
