Golf: I finally did it today at KLGCC
The photo above shows the golf driving range at the club house belonging to the same developer that I had purchased my property more than three years ago. The golf driving range had been completed but until now it is still not open for us which had been promised a free membership when we purchased the property from the developer.
That aside, I had been toying around with the idea of getting involved with the sport for quite some time, but had never got the chance or rather the gut to actually start with the game… although some two weeks ago I was doing a fair bit of internet surfing looking at golf courses available around Kuala Lumpur.
As fate would have it, I was doing some business presentation today at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) and a few friends had suggested that we should have a golfing session after our presentation. It turns out that these friends are also just starting with golfing so I had no hesitation to join the group.
To cut the long story short, I finally get to hold a golf club (belongs to my friend of course) for the first time in my entire life and within minutes had started kicking ass with the golf balls… much to the excitements of my friends upon seeing me missing the balls with my first few swings. But then my other friends were not doing that good either so it was not that embarassing moments after all, especially when most of the other golfers also seems having some kind trouble with their swings as well. So we were not the only beginners today at the driving range.
My first game at the KLGCC driving range was defintely fun and I think I could easily fell in love with the sport. I am aready planning to visit some sport shops soon to see some golfing equipments to start with. Stay tuned to this blog as I will be sharing more of my golfing adventure with you.
