Election 2008: Nomination day pictures at Bandar Baru Bangi
I was at the Kompleks Sukan Seksyen 15, Bandar baru Bangi this morning to see for myself the events surrounding the 12th General Election’s Nomination Day for P102 Serdang. Here are some photos I had taken. There are some interesting videos too but that will take some time for editing and upload to YouTube.
Some Muslimah PAS were seated outside the stadium. There were many more inside the complex.
There were sizeable crowds from DAP as well to accompany Teo Nie Ching to the nomination center. DAP, PKR and PAS supporters were seen mingling very well… some of them even took photographs together and it was not unusual to see DAP supporter holding PAS flags and vice versa.

PAS’s manifesto is to push for a welfare state/country where the needs of the people will be taken care of instead of the needs of the politicians and their business cronies. Fuel prices will be lowered and toll will be reduced.
Muslimah PAS were helping to fold the manisfestos that have just been brought in by PAS party workers. Yes… no money offered to do this job… everything by PAS workers are on voluntary basis.
Many of these PAS women supporters are young ladies…. perhaps one of the reasons why UMNO had formed Puteri UMNO?
Watch out for this good-looking and young lady lawyer from DAP. Teo Nie Ching is contesting for a Parlimentary seat of Serdang.
Almost noon and the crowd on the other side were already very quiet. No party flags were held up high anymore except for a few that were tied to poles. At this very moment the BA crowds were still high in spirits with the Takbir from PAS and occasional shouting by the DAP guys. Later I will upload a video to YouTube for you to see how much mess were left by this crowd on the other side while the BA side was squeaky clean. The MPKj will definitely thank BA supporters for making their jobs very much easier.
This crowd were standing in the middle between BN and BA crowds. Are these the fence sitters we are talking about?
