Looks like me… sounds like me: It’s me?

Well, the last part was not said by Lingam directly of course. After all, which thief would admit he or she is a thief? Now, if you look at what was reported by Malaysiakini today:
Chuah reluctantly revealed that it was Lingam who had identified the other person featured in the clip as Loh Mui Fah during an interview pertaining to the second portion of the clip.
Coming public for the first time in January, Loh told Malaysiakini that he had been harassed by ACA officers.
Americk: Did you instruct any of your team officers to locate Loh Mui Fah?
Chuah: Yes.

Sepang Gold Coast: Future Kuala Lumpur attraction in the making

Sepang Gold Coast: Future Kuala Lumpur attraction in the making

After having a good laugh on the day that was just recently declared a holiday by Pak Lah for Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya folks, I went to Bagan Lalang with my wife and my youngest daughter. It was so long since I visited Bagan Lalang that I could not remember when was my last visit to the secluded beach that is located in the Sepang district.
When I reach Bagan Lalang, just a few kilometers from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the huge billboard that spells out ‘Sepang Gold Coast’ immediately caught my intention. For whatever reasons, I didn’t know …read more

Malaysia Boleh: Stolen cow squeezed into a car

Malaysia Boleh: Stolen cow squeezed into a car

I was having mixed-feeling when I saw this photo in Berita Harian…. amazed, amused and disbelief at the extent to which thieves would do in their chosen profession.
This is definitely a world class Malaysia Boleh feat never attempted anywhere else in the entire universe… but the idiots who had attempted this shameful act shoud be tied to a post and let attacked by the same cow he has stolen… or better still .. dress them just like the matador but in red color and let them have some fun with a couple fighting bulls inside a ring….still tied up to …read more

1 million devotees at Batu Caves: Samy Vellu must be kidding…. to himself.

1 million devotees at Batu Caves: Samy Vellu must be kidding…. to himself.

The first time I saw Samy Vellu trying very hard to appear full of confidence (on national TV of course) when he announced that there were more than 1 million devotees at the Batu Caves Temples on Thaipusam day, I could not help but just burst out laughing. I woke up quite late yesterday (thanks to Pak Lah for declaring a public holiday in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya… errr sorry…. should I thank Hindraf instead?), and when I turned on the TV, it was just nice that the TV guy was interviewing him right there at Batu Caves. In the …read more

Batu Caves is where all the actions are when it comes to Thaipusam in Kuala Lumpur. The popular place among the Malaysian Indian devotees will always be packed with people from all walk of life, causing traffic jams in all directions leading to Batu Caves. Foreign tourists who happen to be in Kuala Lumpur during this Indian festival will also not let go the opportunity to visit one of the Kuala Lumpur attractions and see for themselves kavadi-carrying devotees and coconut breaking ceremony, just to name a few.
However, will Thaipusam festival at Batu Caves be the same this year? May …read more

Visit Malaysia Year scandal exposed

Visit Malaysia Year scandal exposed

Malaysiakini…. the independent news portal had exposed another Malaysian scandal, this time involving the Tourism Ministry. The Ministry officials that are suppposed to maintain Malaysia’s good name in the worldwide tourism industry had instead brought shame to this beloved nation we call Malaysia.
The ambitious Visit Malaysia Year campaign introduced by the Malaysian Government involves a lot of public money and provides lucrative business opportunities for travel-related companies lucky enough to be selected in promoting the program. That is OK as long as the companies involve in legitimate business deals promoting Malaysian tourism.
