Malaysia Boleh: Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is Malaysia’s first astronaut

Malaysia Boleh: Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is Malaysia’s first astronaut

Despite all the brouhaha about Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor’s status as Malaysia’s first astronaut, I am proud to say Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is another example of a truly Malaysia Boleh spirit and Kuala Lumpur is Home proudly declares Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor as the first ever Malaysia’s astronaut to have explored the outer space, Insyaallah, if the voyage takes place as planned.
Folks… have you at least searched the meaning of astronaut? If you haven’t done so, let me enlighten you with one definition of astronaut from Compact Oxford English Dictionary which also has an online version here.
Astronaut, which is …read more

VK Lingam’s video: Gerakan urges the Government to consider royal commission?

VK Lingam’s video: Gerakan urges the Government to consider royal commission?

It is a slap in the face for Pak Lah and the other gang in the BN-coalition. This Gerakan Chief at least has the guts to tell Pak Lah to get real and live in real world…. but I am not sure how Pak Lah would take this. It would be interesting to see the next development following this call by Koh Tsu Koon. But knowing Pak Lah, it is probably safe to assume nothing will happen from this call by Gerakan.
On the other hand, is there some hidden agenda by Gerakan that it goes out of its way …read more

The three-member panel probing the authenticity of the ‘VK Lingam’ video admitted that it is powerless, including in compelling witnesses to come forward or to extend protection for them.
“We have no power,” was the blunt remark from panel head Haidar Mohd Noor.
Earlier, Haidar urged those …read more

Malaysia Boleh: Limkokwing University of Creative Technology a Malaysian-brand education abroad

While other universities in Malaysia have been busy trying to attract international students to Malaysia, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) has been busy selling Malaysian-brand education abroad. The man responsible behind this brave move is none other than Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing, the founder of LUCT. So far, LUCT has set up campuses in London, United Kingdom, and Gaborone, Botswana, in addition to a learning centre in Beijing in cooperation with Tsing Hua University and another in Jakarta.
In the pipelines, there will be more LUCT campuses in New York and Phnom Penh, and collaborative programmes with …read more

New year gift from Samy Vellu to Malaysians

Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu never fails to have new year gifts (some time anytime of the year gift too) for all us Malaysians. The next one waiting especially for those living in the Klang Valley is the new toll rates increase to celebrate the new year 2008. Congratulation and thank you to Samy Vellu for letting us know three months ahead of time.
