Sexist remark in Parliment: Malaysian MPs are insensitive lots
“Mana ada bocor, Batu Gajah pun tiap-tiap bulan bocor juga (Where is the leak? Batu Gajah leaks every month too).”
The above statement (referring to woman’s monthly menstruation period) came from a Malaysian Parlimentarian who is obviously has no regards for woman. To add salt to injury, another Member of Parliment even has the audacity to claim
…when we say such things in Parliment, we take them as a joke, not as personal attack.
A joke? What an insentivive MP we have here. No wonder women all over the country are fuming mad.

‘We want gender sensitive MPs!’ This was among the slogans chanted during a protest outside the Bukit Perdana government complex in Kuala Lumpur today.
The protest was organised by the Joint-Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG). Among those present at the protest were a number of representatives from MCA, a member of the ruling coalition.
A memorandum was presented to Women, Family and Community Development Minister Sharizat Abdul Jalil.
