I was having a good time with my family over dinner last night , while the TV was on with the prime news on all channels at 8pm. But my dinner was spoilt by the news of toll increase. Except for toll operators and a handful of ‘dumb’ politicians, Malaysians are disgusted with this increase. Malaysians have been burdened with quite a few tariff increases lately. My home town Kelantan is about 45 minutes by flight, and Air Asia is having a terrific bargain for flying Air Asia to Kota Bharu, the main city of the Eastern State. For only MYR 5 (or USD1.50, only limited seats available at this price), I can save at least 8 hours compare to if I travel by coach to Kota Bharu. Cyberjaya had an extra day holiday for the weekend due to public holiday applicable only for the state of Selangor. 3-day weekend is kind of long but it seems that a holiday is never long enough..
So I am back to work today. It’s going to be busy this week I think, I hope I wont be that exhausted when I am back from office because I need some energy for my blogs.

I love cooking. This is what I and my wife cooked for today’s breakfast. Its called nasi lemak, a coconut flavoured rice meal. Nasi lemak is very famous in Malaysia, usually enjoyed by all Malaysian at breakfast. However the trend has changed, you can now get nasi lemak for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And it is not uncommon to find these dishes available at many 24-hours food stalls around Kuala Lumpur, not forgetting to mention at the hotels as well.
