Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu by Flight for MYR5
My home town Kelantan is about 45 minutes by flight, and Air Asia is having a terrific bargain for flying Air Asia to Kota Bharu, the main city of the Eastern State. For only MYR 5 (or USD1.50, only limited seats available at this price), I can save at least 8 hours compare to if I travel by coach to Kota Bharu. And if I add another MYR 40 (USD 11.30) for taxes, I would have paid a total of MYR 45 (USD 12.70) compared to MYR 35 (USD 9.90) if I travel by luxury coach. It is defintely a very good deal by any measure.
Air Asia operates under low cost carrier business model and had been very succesfull. Just recently it had placed an order for 100 new Airbus A320 to replace its Boeing 737 fleets.
What is the cheapest deal offered by a low cost carrier in your country for a 1-hour flight?

that is just a gimmick. whether its Airasia or MAS, its just sweet talk. I sat for a Nasi Ayam at Bukit Jalil Karnival Borong after being coaxed with the price. RM 1.00. But its just plain rice and a bowl of soup. A piece of chicken costs RM6.00. Therefore a plate of Nasi ayam is not RM 1 but RM 7.00 compared to normal price of RM 4.00 – Rm 4.50 elsewhere.
CJCM: Perhaps, September 16 too is a gimmick?
