Just minutes ago I heard thunderous sound in front of our apartment in Taman Desaminium. When I rushed out to the balcony, I found out there was a firework from the other side of the town where I live, most probably from the National Sport Complex at Bukit Jalil Stadium, but I am not sure. I am also not sure what is the occasion, the one I could think of was Aidil Adha which all Muslims are celebrating tomorrow, but I had managed to catch the fireworks on my Nikon camera and uploaded it to YouTube. I am feeling on top of the world. And so is my eldest daughter, Sakinah. No, I think she is not feeling on top of the world… she is feeling out of this world. Few months back, she sat for a major Form Three examination, Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) and today she got her result. Straight As in all 9 subjects. Pheww…. all of us have been nervously waiting for this date. And thank God Almighty, our prayers are finally answered and all of her hard work paid off. I went shopping with my wife and kids at Alamanda today. The children are starting school next week so there are a lot of shopping to be done. Alamanda is one of the nearest shopping centre around where I live in Seri Kembangan. The ultra modern shopping center is located in the Malaysia’s new administrative capital of Putrajaya, about 15-20 minutes away from Cyberjaya, where I work.
We did all our shopping today at Carrefour, one of the hypermarkets operating in Malaysia. Everything, well almost everything, is available there at reasonable prices.

Port Dickson is a very popular resort destination in Negeri Sembilan with lots of beautiful beaches and resort hotels, most of them at affordable prices.

That’s it. 11 more days to go for 2006 after which it will be history. And 2007 is going to be a reality soon. Another year has passed by and another year is going to come by. 2007…what does the future hold for me in terms of blogging and Kuala Lumpur is Home? Just few days ago I wrote about AirAsia, which is run based on the low cost carrier model and is doing very well. Last night the CEO of AirAsia Dato Tony Fernandez received Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia 2006 Award for his feat developing AirAsia to what it is today.
